I can not believe how many people complain just to be sure that they have not lost the ability to do so. Recently, there has been growing concern that
backdoors may appear in Windows 7, simply because the NSA participated in part of its development.
To my knowledge, the only back door in Windows 7 is named `Internet Explorer’. Beyond that, what’s with this crazy hype?
News flash: The NSA also participated in Linux development. These days, we call their efforts SELinux. If the NSA is helping in an OS development cycle, its because they want to reduce the number of domestic computers enslaved to criminal bot nets. Yes, you read that right, the Government actually trying to do the job it was put in place to do.
I am no fan of Microsoft, I am no fan of Windows 7 .. however, kindly, cut the FUD. The fact that NSA hackers are working to reduce my work load makes this conspiracy theorist quite happy.
Well, as they say, empty cans rattle the most. Just because Uncle Sam gets involved doesn’t mean its sinister, especially when its helping to secure an OS. Linus took their patches, why should Redmond refuse the same help?
Enough with the straw man arguments, ok?
If it turns out to be any different than I have described it, I will print this post and eat it on youtube.
