The maintenance release for SRCE (version 1.0.9) is now available. This release adds some increased security, the ability to have the scheduler drop privileges and numerous other code improvements.
This is technically a ‘source maintenance’ release for general housecleaning and closing of old and nagging quirks. Binary and source packages are available, RPM’s probably won’t be re-made until 1.1.0 comes out in the next couple of months. I’ll soon be publishing a roadmap for 1.1.0 and 1.1.1, these will focus on bundling more tools and execroot scripts.
Special thanks to Corey Henderson for all of his help and contributions to this release.
